Traffic Statistics, Monitoring and Control

Due to its detection, classification and speed measuring capabilities CLASSAX is an excellent means for all purposes of traffic data acquisition.

Regardless whether monitoring of the current traffic flow or long term collection of statistical data is required, CLASSAX can be configured to do the job autonomously while queried from time to time by e.g. a traffic control or surveillance center. Moreover, since it is not a dumb data logging device, it can also on its own initiative alert some superior institution in a large variety of special cases: Traffic densitiy exceeding some critical value, traffic jams, excessive speed violations, unauthorized use of reserved infrastructure (e.g. bus lanes) and many more.
